In order to deposit and place a bet with FanDuel, you will first need to verify your location. If you are having trouble with this step, here are a few things to try:
FanDuel SportsBook Website
When accessing the FanDuel Sportsbook website, you will verify your location using GeoComply. When you first load FanDuel Sportsbook, a popup page will appear and you will be asked to download the GeoComply software.
-If the prompt does not appear, you may need to first allow popups before re-loading the page. To do this, click on the alert next to the address bar and select 'Always allow pop-ups from..'
-If the download is interrupted or unsuccessful, you may download the software via this link: https://ums.geocomply.com/installer/url?id=LW2BYMiQ3R&os=win&version=3.0.4.3
If, after downloading the plug-in, you are asked to re-download the plug-in, that indicates there was an error that occurred during the install. Check your computer's Downloads folder to verify that the software was downloaded. If it is not there, try downloading GeoComply using the direct link above.
If you are on a Mac OS and you are encountering a download error, the download is likely being blocked by a program called Gatekeeper. To resolve:
1.) Drag the file to your computer's Applications folder
2.) Open the GeoComply app
3.) Confirm that you want to open the app from an 'unidentified developer' by selecting Open once more in the popup window.

iPhone App
The first time you open FanDuel Sportsbook, the app will ask permission to use Location Services. Tap 'Allow' to allow this access.
If you are running into location verification issues after allowing permission, it's possible your phone is not currently connected to a WiFi network. Location detection is more accurate when your phone is connected to a WiFi network, so first confirm that your WiFi connectivity is toggled on.
Also, confirm the following setting is set to either 'While Using the App' or 'Always':
-Settings>Privacy>Location Services>FanDuel Sportsbook App.
It is also recommended that your phone is on the latest iOS software for best location performance. To check for updates, navigate to Settings>General>Software Update.

Android App
You will first need to switch on Location Settings via Apps>Settings>Location. If you are still running into issues after turning Location on, you may need to also enable 'High Accuracy' mode. From the previous Location menu, click on Mode and set it to 'High Accuracy'. *Note: 'Mode' may also be labeled as 'Location Services' depending on your Android version.
Some Android versions will also let you view Location permissions by app from the Location menu. Ensure that Location permissions are enabled for FanDuel Sportsbook here.
Also, when an app has gained Location permissions, Android may either use your device's approximate location, or its precise location. If you are still encountering location verification issues, navigate to Settings>Apps>FanDuel Sportsbook>Permissions>More>More>All Permissions ensure the value is set to Precise Location.
